Kodo is the name of a taiko drumming group formed 20 years ago. They play all over the world and put on a 3-day concert on Sado Island every summer. Check out my blog link in the vid description panel.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. I really like the demon dancers, etc., but if you have more of Tsumura-sensei and the Miyake drummers, it would be so great to see all of that footage. Thanks.

Holy shit, I just came back from a Kodo concert. I have never seen or heard such a powerful, together group of musicians in my life. Cool stuff from Sado-jima...I wanna see the Oni drummers
