@OhmygodSportacus The new one also has a "Black Package" version which I would recommend playing if you didn't know about it. It adds an Extra Stage, better music (My opinion though) and I think it's a little bit harder.

@UltraDragonDragon I have played that one with the English translation and liked that but was pretty dissapointed that it didn't use the polarity system right after I played 2nd. That was two years ago though I think I'll try it again.

@OhmygodSportacus Have you ever tried Exceed 3rd? That one has an english translation but it's not an Ikaruga clone. I find it more fun though.

Awesome. I won't say the music in these games beats Touhou's, but damn some of the tracks are close. The dramatic intro to this boss is without puns, exceeding the limits of dramatically allowed.
