Caledonian Macintosh 828 (From Straphspey Railway, Aviemore) is seen departing Arley station in style during the Severn Valley Railway's Autumn Gala.
This day was kind of good, kind of bad.
Discovered a new railway, Saw caley 828 and Tornado and rode behind Tornado too.
And the bad; It was absolutely packed, never seen a railway like it. Went behind tornado in a 9 carriage train, seats taken and people standing all through - just like a commuter train in London. Also, camcorder broke.
This was filmed with me not being able to see what I was recording (I am now going HD). Camera has kinda broke a bit, its usable but awkward, so got a Fuji Bridge camera too!.
On my old camcorder, the screen died, literally on my second shot of the day. It appears that the back light went, in the way that you could still see the screen but in a particular angle. So for this shot as well as the others I got, I couldn't actually see what I was recording. Now The screen doesn't even respond to anything, hense why I went HD with sony, and plugged the memory card in and got this video amongst others from the HD camcorder.
Oh well, got an upgrade out of it! So this video Is NOT in HD. It will be any videos after this and any other SVR gala videos (If i can be bothered to upload).
Enjoy!

Lovely shot Sam, thumbs up
She certainly is a beautiful loco, nice departure too. Trying to get my footage from Sunday sorted, still got a backlog of videos to edit and upload.
