The demonstration video for the SCA 2011 conference paper entitled "A Simple Finite Volume Method for Adaptive Viscous Liquids" coauthored by Christopher Batty (of Columbia University & Exocortex) and Ben Houston (of Exocortex).

Simulation required ~4 minutes per frame and 6GB of memory for the high resolution Armadillo simulations (resolutions equivalent to 40 million voxels) and less than 5 seconds per frame and 0.5GB of memory for the coilings and torus simulations (resolutions equivalent to 1 million voxels).

The rapid simulation times were achieved because the simulator is build upon Exocortex's unique adaptive tetrahedral technology.

The simulator is available for custom jobs under the brand name MaelstromFX. Please contact info@exocortex.com for more information.
