A huge fan of the old Eagles and Raspberries; this is very Eagle-esque; recorded at around the same time (first LPs of each band came out in 72 if I am not mistaken.: Dave brought a nice country vibe to the "Berries and all the boys could sing and harmonize....great track.

Eric Carmen was the standout singer in the Raspberries in terms of range and power, but Dave Smalley's songs are among my favorite Raspberries songs. I think this one is his best, lyrically and melodically.

@Lisarata Good Catch! Just like 'I Don't Know What I Want (But I Want it Now) sounds like Alice Cooper, Nobody Knows is McCarntney et al. They were the best, the Raspberries!
