Can't believe how rude some people are! Thanks for sharing your recipe, i've always wanted to know how chip shops make their peas.
-
no need for the rudeness though.

English cooking is tasty but very misunderstood worldwide (including UK itself). If you want a really tasty, traditional, mashed peas, just gently warm 3 minced cloves of garlic in good portion of olive oil (extra-virgin, I insist), and then add the baked peas (canned or frozen and baked for 12 minutes by you) and allow 2 minutes to simmer.Turn the fire off, and mash it with the crushing machine (not perfectly creamy, but with lumps of semi-crushed peas).Salt, pepper and olive oil to taste.

This is why UK cooking is hated the world over.

Thanks for the vid, very interesting, the peas looked lush at the end, you were a little tight on the salt though, why do people fear salt so much? It brings out the flavour. Lots of chippy's dont put salt in their fat either? Thats soooooooo bad! Thanks again guys.

They won't drop because you do not know the correct method! No one has shown you the proper technique thats all... and by the way... ditch the food colouring! If you didn't already know, peas are already green!

@thexxmaster You are right, canned mushy peas are disgusting. But don't let that put you off homemade ones. Thanks for watching.
