Produced as a fantasy genre entry for the 48hr Film Project NSW 2011 set between 23-25 September 2011, 'Hangman' was entered in disappointing form due to the tight competition time constraints although I was still surprisingly awarded the 'Best Emerging Director' - a puzzling prize that I largely credit to the support and assistance of my wonderful cast and crew.

NOTE: This is 'Hangman' in it's polished and proper form pieced together another 24 hours after the competition had ended.

I'm quite proud of the end product considering the time shortage and the days spent planning, filming and putting this project together were a wonderfully chaotic time full of good fun.

I want to thank everyone who helped on this project and gave up their time, energy and ideas. I'm so very glad to have had such an awesomely productive and eager crew and I honestly think this memorable project will be hard to top. I really owe each of you a huge thanks :D

  • Some good creative work! What were the key elements you had to incorporate if you don't mind me asking?

  • @Oarthies Thanks so much mate, glad you dig the work. Our genre was fantasy and the compulsory elements were to somehow use chalk, the line "something's not right" and to include a chef character named Stephanie/Steven Palmer. This polished version of our entry only retained the use of chalk though.

  • looks good :D
