This is a little hack I'm working on that allows you to play any sequence from the game and also change the instrument set used. Other features may include changing tempo and pitch.

You can actually play up to three sequences at once by using different layers.

Also came up with this little code to disable all sound effects so that only the background music is played:

  • Is it possible to convert this into a long gameshark code?

  • Yes, I use Gameshark codes to test these hacks before having to patch to a ROM. But only the Nemu64 emulator supports very long Gameshark Codes.

The last version of this code (actually, an extensive hack which includes this code also) translates to a 15000+ lines long Gameshark code,

  • I'm fine with just the jukebox code.

    I don't have a emulator, I just use a real N64 with a Gameshark Pro.

  • Sorry, even the "Music Jukebox" alone has way more lines than a Gameshark can handle. If your Gameshark has a parallel port, as far as I remember it may be possible to upload a patched ROM to your N64 and play it.
