Our very first short film. Yes, the quality of the camera work and audio needs some work. But it was our first shot out of the gate.

Gold Medal winner and Official Selection at the 2008 Lumiere Film Festival!

A man who listens to the millions of every day sounds loses his hearing and is lost in the vast emptiness of sound.

  • Not bad, I get your premise. Im assuming this short film is about "Appreciate the little things in life".For the quality of your film, no worries I totally understand. When its your first film it never goes your way trust me Iv been there -_- But remember a filmmaker always analysis and analysis and analysis their mistakes, thats how they get better.

Just Ignore the negative comments, some people are just to single minded and all they wanna see is the "eye candy". (p.s) just work on your shots

  • It's a nice first film, a difficult task for most beginners, but luckily for me, this first time film maker kept his ego and imagination in check to produce film which accomplish exactly what the director and crew set out to fulfi, The next film he can add a couple of nude chicks, a car chase and some good 4D CGI stuff. My advice learn, experiment, follow your inner vision because if you don't others wellmeaning ppl will divert or delay your final goal.

  • watch my short film, bad boy blues

  • Maybe just a new narrator and better quality sound and picture would have made this better, but it's a good short film never the less..

  • Pretty good, except for the random montage of household appliances. That threw me off. And I'm not clear on whether or not he got his hearing back, or he never lost it or what. And what does this film say about deaf people?

  • bal banaise.

  • Narrator was to out of pace, out of energy, even if it's a bad mood he should've played it like that. the shots were too much TV like, The story is simple yet interenting, but as I tend to be drawn more for what I see than what I hear, this short film was kind of a let down.

  • Hey, could you explain me what your short moving image is about? Sorry , but I didnt get it . Well my firth thought was that your main character is deth? Well if this was your first pictures then you already know you should have add more shots and explain your audience visually what you mean by this video. I am waiting for your response thanks :)

  • hmm, the plot wasn't too bad. But it could've been a lot more interesting. The narrator was very UN-enthusiastic. It sucked the life out of the film. If that was the kind of voice you were going for, you could've made it sound better by making it more emotional and painful, I couldn't stand watching it. It made it look boring, But if you had proper voice acting and slightly more interesting shots, it could've easily been twice as interesting :)
