  • solid over rev

  • @rextuner03 Its a honda sir.

  • damn!! normally i like to keep the gauges stock... but those are rediculously sick!!!!!!

  • co za hujnia

  • @canuckaholic91 Anyway you slice it there is NO point in doing this. It doesn't HELP anything other than helping you ruin your motor. You can replace your springs and retainers soon after doing this all the time.

  • @rextuner03 lol e-thug? idiocy? no shit they build the car to make peak hp based on revs and the gear ratios, that's in every company. and IF he shifts quickly he'll keep it in the power range, i said that it HELPS him land the next gear closer to the power peak. i never said that it was necessary.

in any case, if you watch it again, looks like he just wanted to hit 100km/h without changing to 3rd. (7k @ 2nd gear looks like 90km/h)

and if this vti had the original b16a2, redline = 8k

  • @canuckaholic91 Ok I will pretend like you didn't say that. Honda and their highly paid engineers spent millions of dollars in research and development. Then said the 7,000 rpm redline was good enough, but some tool drives the car thinks he knows better. They build the car to make PEAK hp based of the rev of the engine and the gear ratios. So if you shift quickly you can keep you it in the power range. So PLEASE keep your idiocy to yourself. Class dismissed!

  • and it's a civic, it will rev to 8k for at least 20 years lol

  • @rextuner03 you're an idiot. over revving a little bit will help him land the next gear closer to the power peak.

  • why'd u shifting at 8000 rpm? doesn't it'll blown ur engine?
