I get cuts just from handling regular Spyderco lockbacks or Axis knives. I knew I was going too deep into the knife hobby when I started carrying band aids in my backpack. Thankfully I haven't gotten bit in over 3 months.

replaced the liners even! that's great to hear. They say you can never have too many 7s lol.

The G10 will smooth out over time. Every Emerson I have ever owned (around 20)has started grippy and then smoothed out over time.
Also, the jimping on every Emerson I have ever owned (different models) have been different. If you ever get a CQC-15 you will see how different that is from your A100.

Those band-aids make this video. Sign of a true knife connoisseur.

mongo: if you play with knives as much as i do, you're gonna get cut now and then. if i'm learning a particularly difficult balisong move i might have 4 or 5 on at once.
thanks for watching the vid!

Awesome you got the PE miniA100. Good snag. That guy is nowhere to be found now. How did the 7 come back ?

It came back in amazing shape! They reground the blade to a factory edge, replaced the liners, and replaced the pivot screw, handle screws, and clip screws.
I still want a 7 with a wave so a CQC-7W BTS is next on my list.

BTW, Sometimes the lock can be adjusted by taking the knife apart and putting it back together. Emersons are "sandwiched" together. Over time the layers of the knife (blade, G10, liners) can shift. Sometimes simply taking it apart and putting it together can fix the late lock up.
Also, if you sned that 2001 back to Emerson he will put a wicked edge on it.....Great Vid!!!
