17-year-old Jason Cox (unofficially) SMASHES the Slinger Speedway track record set by Tracy Hines on May 17, 2008 (10.845 seconds).
On old tires, and in only his third session, Cox set a time in the 10.4 second range. In his final run he set a blistering lap of 10.330 seconds.
These Sprint Cars will visit Slinger Satruday, August 21.

this is sick !!! the cabs look like lumbering turds compared to a sprint car on this track. My uncle won the last sprint car race that was held here... in 1975 !! We were doing 11.6's and thought that was flying. No wings on that car though,
