Due to a leak in the aluminum plate test unit I felt I needed to do another test to more accurately measure absorber performance. I have removed the previous test videos.

  • @DeleteMeOnline The "crip" or accordion looking pattern you see pressed in some absorber panels does not make for better heat absorbtion, it is to keep the plate from warping in the heat. the warping causes a repeated bending of the copper plate and stressing the plate at the weld. They have a machine at the shop that does that operation. With this panel being only 12" long the expansion is minimal and will not warp the plate. But I might give it a try as I test other absorbers. Great Comment!
