but is it realy a big upgrade compared to reason 4? and how would you rate it

against other daws like cubase?

i love working with reason but i find the quality better in cubase alot better

@Bigtimejonko The upgrade is great. Kong is offering huge creative possibilities and the new Dr Rex enables you to handle your loops more easily, although I don't use loops that much.

The truth is that you can do a lot with the old Drum Machine, but i just don't use that anymore with Kong available.

As far as Cubase goes, it's a completely different approach to making music, so they are not to be compared. They work best with ReWire, if you prefer using the Cubase sequencer and need VSTi.

@digoo9988 fls & reason is diferrent,in reason i think yiu have to use a midi keyboard and or download sampled beats from the net form propellerhead's web,FLS You can create just about anything from scratch with or without a midi esp beats and instruments.I hate it when people say reason is better or vise versus because its all in the composer who make the beats!ima try cubase!
