the whole fuel issue is academic until they start making the cars out of carbon fiber - waaaay lighter, waaaay stronger.

and a great way to store all that excess carbon we have in our atmosphere. A new invention called a black phantom can extract and store carbon for up to 40000 years. As a byproduct it also produces bio gas and bio oil.

this is a clue ... you dont have to store electric energy in batterys ... Magnetic wenkel engine (overunity drive) .... store electric power in a weighted fly wheel ... you wont need nearly as much fossil fuel to power the car as you do now... Research
