  • Thank you all for making this possible! It was such a sad day when I learned of RJ's passing. I wish that he could have completed his work, but since he was taken from this world so soon I'm happy that his masterpice will come to a conclusion. I can't wait to get my autographed copy at one of the book signings.

  • "The Last Battle is coming".

  • my parents bought the first 9 books...December 2010.... started with the series this year.. in book 5 right now, i am a slow reader, but i enjoy the series :D great i have some WoT books still to read until the last battle.

  • I love Robert Jordan (James Oliver Rigney, Jr was his real name) for what he created, but the last few books were unnecessary and could have been compressed alot, Sanderson thankfully cut lots of the bloat. However he uses more modern-time diction with characters that can be a bit jarring and take you out of the story (ie, crazy homicidal mountainfolk). But he's doing a great job, I think. Can't wait for the final book, but also sad for it all to be over after 20+ years!

  • I've been readind these books since 1993. I kinda just want them to end and now there are supposed to be 2 more after this? I'm thinking I'll just forget about it for a few years and come back to it when I can get all the books at once from a used book seller. It's a good series but this slow pace is really getting old. I'll bet the publisher loves it though.

  • @TheArcticmonkeeeey I'm rereading at the moment too. I'd forgotten how looong it was. I'm on winters heart again and i'm really impatiant to get to rand and nyneve clensing the male source. Funny but I like nyneve more 2nd time round but matt is still my fave character by a long way. If you're like me you are remembering small bit's of the plot you had forgotten as you go, i think i'll enjoy book 13 more remembering more of the sub plots.

  • Haha, yeah, no kidding.

  • I always read good books way too fast and the wheel of time is no exception! I look forward to 13 & 14.

  • Hahaha....lols at some of the comments here but yeah...i read book 12 way too freaking fast.. ( a little secret i hope you guys dont take to personal...i kinda thought book 12 was better then the previous 5 books...) but i cannot wait for book 13..atm im re-readibng all em and im now in the middle of book 7 xD still a long way till 12, of which i am glad!

  • couldnt agree more

  • this book was amazing. The end is so good, I'm pissed tho, I read it too fast, now I have to wait another year, lol.
