i love your review!, but did you feel that some of later stages were somewhat "trial and error"?

Yeah, parts of the stages were buggy (for instance Adabat) where you had to line sonic up exactly as he ran across the water, otherwise you'd hit a wall and rebound off and fall into the water. Not sure if everyoine found this, but i found similar problems like this. The game was easy once you knew what the 'rules' were.

@sonicbrawler182 True. I'm sick of people saying "this isn't Sonic!" Sonic can be many things and he shouldn't be the same thing. Sonic Team wants variety in the series, respect that. I completely agree. 06' is mediocre, but not totally bad and every other game was good or great.

@vgman94 If anyone ever says "it's not what he's supposed to do", I just say:

"You don't decide what Sonic is supposed to be, nor do I. The developers do!"

I agree with you on new things, just because it wasn't there from day one, doesn't mean it shouldn't be there now. Sure, some new things work better than others, but the developers learn from their mistakes. The only bad main 3D Sonic game, IMO, is Sonic 06, and that had some great ideas, it was just severely rushed and buggy.

@sonicbrawler182 I know what you mean. I'm not sure, but it might've helped me play God of War 3 better. I don't see how anyone who likes beat 'em ups can hate the Werehog. I've met a lot of people who just say "It's not that it's a bad fighting game, it's just not what Sonic's supposed to do. That's what makes it suck." What the hell? A fun gane is a fun game. It doesn't matter if Sonic didn't start out with that, it's still a great addition, just like the sword, team gameplay and guns were.

Great, unbiased, fair review. I would give it higher, but only because I like beat em ups like the werehog, aswell as sonic games. So I didn't really see the werehog as a new, unfamiliar thing. In fact, the werehog actually made me a better player in Tekken! No joke!
