The Kimura from side control is my favorite move and i do it ALL the time. It's great because there is almost no risk when going for it and the bottom person usually never sees it coming until you already have the grip.
At the start, when I get my arm underneath his elbow and go north/south, i like to drive my shoulder forward to break his grip on my back, then reach over and get the kimura lock to turn him on his side.
I really like that choke though, I'm definitely going to try that.

Zicro and his Academy have killer arm bars, whenever I train with those guys I have to wear an arm brace the next day. Phenomenal Jiu Jitsu!!! Hope Prof Zicro post's more videos.
