In the Lab at my Work Place. We only use gloves when handling acids or bases. Goggles however, are mandatory.

does low conc. of this gas cause eye irritation? because i was doing my chemistry practical exam and a guy was making copper nitrate with a penny, it was in a fume hood but everyone's eyes started to feel like there was a load of onions in the room'

@alejolaya i think they used a fume hood for this experiment. in the last seconds of vid somebody closed a cover. it must be a fume hood.
