This is an AU PotC vid, well AU of the AU actually... We have this wonderful PotC rp with my best friend, Goldengardenias. One of the new characters she introduced is Mary Powell. She's in fact a boy but has always been raised as a girl and doesn't know how to be anything else. This vid is a love triangle between James Norrington/ Mary Powell/ Will Turner (Turwellton )

Summary: Mary has lived on Jack's ship for some years (not as his lover, though he has been in love with her) when they are attacked by the Royal Navy. Jack is killed and Mary is taken prisoner, destined to hang with the rest of the crew. But James feels attracted to her and finally takes her under his wings. They slowly fall in love but then James suddenly realizes Mary is not a girl at all and doesn't react very well.

Mary vanishes without another word and runs off to Tortuga where she only manages to survive as a whore. That's where Will finds her on his first (rather tentative) visit to the town. He soon falls in love with her and asks her to go with him to Port Royal. She hesitates first but then accepts his offer and for a while they are happy together (Will accepts and loves Mary as she is).

But one day James arrives and Mary can't deny that she still loves him, especially after he confesses that he can't stop thinking of her and that he has regretted the way he behaved. Mary gives in and thinks they could finally be happy. But the next time James is out at sea there is a storm and his ship sinks, no one survives. Mary thinks her life is over but Will is there for her, even though she had betrayed him...
