I sometimes wish the afrikaaners were wise enough to see the prosperity and future blacks would bring to the country by giving them independence, education and freedom 300yrs ago, instead white power and hate had to rule over other human beings and now its payback my friend.

Not everyone reads, writes and understands your Afrikaan language please

@Pooternackle This is no different from Affirmative Action in Brazil, too.

As much as you are willing to ADVOCATE for the old regime, I don't intend to defend the recent regime or any other regime.
I think the present regime can NOT be more corrupt than the few-tyrant mafias of the old regime taking a whole country hostage, depriving 90 % of the population the basic human needs.
I wonder if your grievances & accusations are politicaly motivated,,,,
STILL, GOING BACK TO APARTIED IS NOT A SOLUTION, because people deserve better.

@BahreNeGash Time is not going to fix anything, we need to end the corruption in government, the whole tender thing is so bad I don;t think there is a single minister that is not owner or partner in several companies, opened only to receive tenders.
Everything collapsed except the department of revenue collection. Schools, hospitals, police, the army, the water supply, the electricity supply. We have provinces with 80% of their populations on grants (buying votes).

I understand your concern & you have every legitmate right to seek equal treatment like all other Africans.
What I was refering to may NOT have any thing to do with you or with the news South African generation, who have no connection to the privildges of Aparthied.
As much as I understand your plight, I undestand the deep seated wound & animosty Aparthied left in the hearts & minds of Africans.
Therefore, time & leadership is NEEDED to resolve the animosity & inequality.

@BahreNeGash Glad to hear a more reasonable tone... now for the rest of your assumptions. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities, responsebilities, and rewards, i.e. anyone who has done the work required, made the sacrifices required should be entitled to the same opportunities. What we have now is a system, where whites who were not even born, hell, even if you immigrate here today, you will be discriminated against, for something you had no part or say in.

@poepflater Thank you for your compliment. No, you are NOT 300 years old. You asked ,,,"are we never to have equality"? YES, you are as much African as the rest of Africans. Now,,, What's you problem with,,, 1. living equally with Africans in Africa? 2. resolve & reconcile 300yrs old injustice & inequality, by helping those who have been deprived for 300 years? Now,,, Why are the NATIVES NOT ENTITLED to expect the same BENEFITS you have been ENJOYING for 300yrs?
How about some english subtitles to make this story accessible to much of the western world, where discrimination against whites under the heading of affirmative action, is also well underway? Exposing this story to the rest of the world would illustrate the hypocrisy underlying the policy.

Courage les boers !
Nie vergeet om veel kinders te hê nie, dis die toekoms van die Afrikaners.
Met een of twee kinders vir elke gesin sal dit 'n probleem wees.
Wat is Tshwane ? SAUK little pooddle ?
And why no Afrikaans subtitles when English is spoken, hmm ? English must not become the official common language of SA, that will be the death of Afrikaans !
