just to let you know the microphone is completely position wrong, thats a condenser mic and you need to talk into the front of the mic not the side :D
my Dad told me to try it. Its simple, its pretty ,its shiny , but just like a Macs I could never figure out what the heck I'm doing . FF is so much more 'there' without having to figure out all kind of short cuts and secret buttons. I'll never use IE again , but i may give safari another try in the future.
I'd actually have to say that Safari for Windows makes IE for Mac look like a pretty solid browser. I beta tested Safari and reported numerous bugs in the hopes that Apple would fix them and make Safari a respectable browser. I have 3.1 now on Vista and I honestly can't tell the difference performance wise between it and the beta. Pure crap. What did I expect though? It's worthless on my Mac so I shouldn't have expected that it would be any better on Windows.
Yep your right they realy maniged to make a browser that realy stinks on windows, not being able to display bold or italic would be bad but this thing dosn't even rendere text where this has been set. not to mention security flawas and all the current issues with languach selection, inproper use of onload and what have you not.
As for IE on Mac it was alot better then IE5 for Windows and probably alot of othere browsers at that time.
How ever this was probably also it's downfall as it differed from the main IE not alot of developers where aware of this and didn't bothere to test there site with it.
I sugest you look up othere 7 year old browsers and then see witch one you like the best.
