The Man In The Hat

An old concrete poem I wrote. One of my favourites. ^_^

The Man In The Hat

(zeblonian concrete)

......... There's a man in a hat
......... Staring you in the face
......... He's quite a curious cat
......... And stands in this place
Look a little closer now as this is it's rim
............. Can you eye him yet
............... He's a silhouette
................... A chin to get
Small shoulders as well, very small
Arms I'm afraid to say he's not at all tall
What about the chest see the big picture
I took great care in setting up this mixture
Of body parts disguised for you to enjoy
And find like the belly you have to espy
Hand on the right opposite his left hand
....... Above jeans a favourite brand
........ This is the crotch now and
........... My words I must watch
.......... Down here near the knee
......... At this stage don't you see
That his body's nearly now complete
I'm for real you see as these are the feet

Hey Warren, I like. I didn't get it at first because I was concentrating on the words but when I saw the line "I took care in making this mixture" I could see the body of a man. Good work. Also what is the song?

Sweet m8..I put it in the description because you tubes compression sux like mad and the letters aren't defined. The tune is "Cruisin'" from the movie "Duets". Gwyneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis ^_^
