Song For My Family - Jerome Lee

A great reunion in June 2010 of my bandmates from our FSI and GUSS band days after 21 years. Our rehearsal in Hesperia, California and the birthday party we played in Apple Valley, California was for Big Jim Wheeler, our saxophone player's father. It was a fun time for us all!

The desert photos were taken by my friend Tomas Atkinson(YouTube Thetomasalvin)in Summit Valley, California during my visit.

"Song For My Family" is a song I wrote about those who are as family in our lives, the people who accept us for who we are and love us as we love them. I recorded this version of it during my stay in Hesperia, and my thanks to Tomas Atkinson for joining me and adding his conga playing to the song.
