I thought, the eye can see 60 frames...I could be wrong.

@jimmyplane The Human eye See's 24FPS roughly because thats all our brain devotes to our vision. this is because we are not prayed on by any other species.
YET.....

@BertusHH "Oh wow. Someone gave the game an opinion and its automatically an inferior game compared to FORZA." Well sir, I say to you. What racing game do you know that has the level of detail in each premuim car on the consoles? Dont even say FORZA 3 because FORZA 3 is a fraud. They say it has like 1 million polygons per car. WRONG. It only has 1,000,000 polygons per car in the dealership and photomode. In actual gameplay, it has less than 300,000 polygons. Look it up.

@FordGTMaster Game is out now and it doesnt just look worse it also runs worse tears li´ke a mofo and has incredibly long loading times. It also got shitty review scores.
-
@BertusHH Oh please man, everyone knows GT5 looks better, dont try to even say FORZA 3 looks better.
-
@BertusHH Agreed, I just got it today and played it for a few hours and the graphics are crap, the shadows are all screwed up, lots of jaggies, the environment looks like crap. The Top Gear Test Track looks like some first year graphics artists attempt at a project and on top of it all most of the cars are missing the in-cockpit view. How the hell did it take them so long to release such crap. If only my G25 was supported for Forza I would never touch GT5 again.

@solidkwon ,Acually, you will notice GT5 is worked on incredibly on its environments. And in my oppinion is better in its graphics

@pilot3Sam ... The blacks and whites first, then the color. However, your brain interprets these impulses so quickly it is impossible to notice these differences. Also, your brain can change the rate it which it "sees". So if you just still still and stare you will "see" less often, and when you are under extreme stress (like during a shark attack) your brain will "see" more often and that is why time seems to slow down.
-
@pilot3Sam You do not see in frames per second. Thats not how our vision works. The cones and rods in our eyes are constantly interpreting various rays of light with different frequencies and then sending that information down through the optic nerve where its is all put together by the brain into a sequence of images. The funny things is is that it is easier to black & white since the chemical reactions enabling them are quicker. So if you where to close your eyes and open them to see, you see

hmm, so ur suggesting that if there came another living species that hunted us down, we'd evolve so that our brain would allow us to see more in detail?
It scares me to think of being preyed upon by other species, but it'd def be cool to see that evolution take place.
answering seriously though, the human vision capability cannot be measured as frames per second so it's irrelevant to wonder how many fps human eye can see.
-
The human eye can see far more than 30fps.
To bad all that footage of GT5 is fake. Play GT5 academy to see how it looks for real. Looks shitty.

GT5 academy? u mean the time trial demo?
I thought it looked like the demo they showed at tgs 09. But then again, my tv screen is really small so I'm not able to really determine the graphical details all that well.
Pre-rendered trees were kind of off-putting at parts but I thought it looked real good. I didn't like the cock-pit view all that much tho.

forza 3 an 2 run a full 60fps,an gt gameplay runs at 60fps,1080p,an da replays r 30fps!!! trus me gt will fuk it up wen it cums to engine performance,so far da alpha textures hav been limited, watch da full game,i cant wait,i hope they have weather patterns an custoisin like forza
TheLonDonE 2 years ago
Both games run at high res and high fps. Forza seems to have the advanatage on some environmental aspects tho, like, as u've mentioned, track deformation and weather effects. I don't think weather will be a bit part of GT5 although, there'll probably be trials and license tests that feature weather, like it was done in GT4.
