It's highly unlikely that Rose is preggers. It could be another dream sequence. (Geez!) Oh, and if Derek could be all startled by the preggers issue, he is DEFINITELY not dead.

Well... Unless he found out Rose was pregnant, ran his car into a lamppost and dies not long after. Still. Season five (or any other seasons) would really be stale without him.
