That looks really interesting

excellent work!

That is great. What are you thinking of doing with it? Selling the idea? Or selling them yourself? Maybe small models for kids to assemble themselves could be a seller. Good luck. Keep it up. You are a great engineer.

Nice, that could be done with lego mindstorms nxt. You should look into it its a great set! You can buy special sensors so that it travels lines or avoids objects itself and if you have 2 sets you can use bluetooth to control your robot.

But asimo, how expensive is that....? 50 million dollars including research and development...? And: Who needs that thing? Robots will never replace humans, and asimo is too expensive to serve as a toy....

i'd buy one of these! who needs robot dogs when there's gigantic electronic spiders?

that is basic motion.
When you think of the movement of the human body for example, or perhaps a cheetah you get to see some amazing physical structures.
The reason why the spider leg design works so well is stability and simplicity. This movement pattern is very basic. Nonetheless very interesting.
check out the honda robot!
duuuuude, you should give it a sensor like one of those vacuum cleaners or lawn mowers that detect objects and changes its course accordingly and just let it roam around the house like a pet.
