Nothing Important Happened Today

Britain in a Day footage - getting up, getting ready, talking while washing up, doing some gardening, cooking some parsnips. I had a very uninspiring day - but I promised my mother I would submit something so here is 13 minutes of nothing much. Featuring Olliebean's voice but not the rest of him. He didn't want to be seen on camera - which limited what I could film as he was around all day. I also had logos etc in some shots and had to discard them.

I feel like I've been looking at you through Ollie's eyes for twelve minutes. Not the most fun or interesting twelve minutes, either. OTOH I liked your conversation about language, and the odd bird calls in the garden.

Look at that rake - it's so medieval, like something out of a Breugel painting. Seems to work as well as any other 500 year old rake. You are channeling Sisyphus with that thing.

@audadvnc well the Britain in a Day thing wanted unedited footage so I just had to upload as much as I could! The rake handle was a stick from the trees that my dad put on the old rake when he visited. It held up for a few minutes, anyway.

4. Was your place built for someone seven feet tall? I can understand someone like me avoiding my image, but you shouldn't have to jump up to see yourself.

5. Since you're still making those parsnip chips I guess I have to try them. They must be pretty good.

@jaluck it is Oliiebean's house and he is at least 6 foot. I am 5 foot 6 (just about). When I started renting my room even the hall mirror was too high - I can't persuade him to lower the bathroom cabinet.. Well, it is his house, I suppose.

I loved this, because I love you so much, but there's so much to address:

1. This is the first YouTube video over ten minutes long where I've watched every single second.

2. Got to see your fabulous legs after the shower, but I'm still desperately curious about the infamous toe deformity from which you supposedly suffer. When Chuquai showed those "awful" toes they were all blurred.

3. When I see no suds, I get a little queasy about the cleanliness of the dishes. Maybe that's just me.

The broken stick was good for a laugh! People are always throwing out old brooms. Just use a broomstick for your rake.

Hey! Put some pieces of hose or something on the curved part of the rack on top of your oven. Those pointy things will scratch the paint.

You must be near an airport. There seems to be a jet overhead on every video.

What brand and model of camera do you use. It picked up the raking sounds particularly well. Do you use a separate mic?
