yundi li has by far the best interpretation. She plays kinda slow and less impressive.

Interesting, but false. By the way, "to impress" is not the goal, you can ever find a faster&stronger pianist, and for example a computer plays faster. The meaning of the piece is the matter. It's a tragic ballade, a marvellous march... of sadness. cannot be faster.

You can download the original form rapidshare, as i wrote it in the comments ! i did only 1 thing, i saved this video (2 from 4, incomplete concerto) and, once i saw it removed from Youtube, i posted them back. So i didn't make them ! I wonder why they were removed, they are very good.

You are so right. Although Yuja is brilliant, Vinnitskaya's performance is a more studied, considered performance. The music is never rushed or played outlandishly. I love Yuja's playing, but dearly hope, for her sake, that she does NOT succumb to all the hype about her being "the fastest pianist", etc -- and besides, who cares? She can quickly become a footnote to what what otherwise have become a satisfying lifelong career. The choice is hers.
