Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone

When I was six years old, I was still playing on my NES when for Christmas my mom and dad got me a Sega Genesis for Christmas. And with the Sega Genesis came a game that I remember all too well... it was a blue hedgehog with sneakers that was fast, quick and not like Mario that's for sure. Yep, it was Sonic the Hedgehog and it came with the Model-1 Sega Genesis. I had that Model 1 for years until it broke down and my brother got a Model 2 years later. Its too bad that Sonic is in serious life support but I will never forget this... the game that got me into Sonic in the first place... Sonic the Hedgehog.

In Sonic the Hedgehog, there are six zones each with three acts. In two of the three acts, Sonic collects rings, bashes badniks and hopefully reaches the goal so he can hopefully go to the bonus stage and get a chaos emerald. In the third act however, Sonic must go up against the likes of Dr. Ivo Robotnik but let's call him Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman is an evil scientist with an IQ of 300 and he wishes to turn the peaceful animals into slaves for his robotic empire... but one hedgehog isn't gonna let that happen and that's Sonic.

I've talked about enough... just watch this. It isn't a speed run or anything since I can clear this game in basically an hour or two but... this is me wanting to relive my youth. Here's the first zone... Green Hill.

Heh, funny that at the end of the second stage you had the speed shoes, so the music was fast all the way to the start of the third zone.....wonder if they fixed that bug in Sonic 2....
