An animated LED-based display panel, installed in a window that used to view the back yard (but was blocked off during a remodel). Peggy Loo is based on the EvilMadScientist.com Peggy2 board which is, in turn, based on Arduino. It consists of 12x16 clusters of RGBW LEDs (for a total of 32x24) which can be animated with up to 16-levels of brightness per LED. It has a number of display modes that can be chosen, including an "analog" clock, 3D cube, water effects, etc. As a "screensaver" it randomly displays one of the modes during the day and automatically switches to a darkened clock at night (a useful night light to find the toilet. :) Code available on request...

  • Great job! I just finished building my Peggy 2 (all white) and am really looking forward to get into the programming.
