@robotech6886 Gina, I understand why you are insisting on med detox, that's fine. To suggest 'everyone needs to go to a hospital for med detox because they can die' is FALSE. Alcohol and some opiate use requires med detox. Any detox can be done with an MDs consent, AND that's exactly what we teach on our at home program. Work with a doctor in detoxing off drugs. People detox by themselves all the time. Heroin users detoxed themselves for decades. Our AT Home prgm explains how to.

@GinaGuitarGirl The only real way to detox properly is in a clinical situation where you're monitored by a professional M.D. You can die if you try to detox at home, there's no magical way to get through withdrawals. Go to the hospital so you can be given meds that will help ease the withdrawal symptoms.

@drugfree40 it seems to me that everyone is more concerned with what you paid for in your drug abuse to use that and hold it in front of you to blame you for not purchasing a helpful way to detox and become free of this addiction. chances are some have just plain run out of money to get thier drugs and are at the end of thier rope and want to quit. now you want to capitalize on thier misfortune? shame on you !!!!
Drummer4u47 Watch "How Drug Abusers Think" at . Hint, it's all about how drug / alcohol abusers justify their abuse. I hope you discover for yourself what everyone else already knows about you. Don't worry, it's not a secret. Recommendation: stop blaming everyone else or your circumstances for your condition. Victimization of self results in being a victim. I'd rather see you succeed, become healthy and be proud of yourself. Tell me what you're doing to get healthy

Drug abusers spend an average of $50 to $100 / day on drugs or alcohol. Often a drug addict will commit property crime or other acts which harm themselves or others for drugs. People get in return what they invest in. Invest $ into drug use => damage to self. Or, one could invest $ in health, healing and recovery => happy & well.
Drug Rehab Advisor has indicated personal accountability for personal action. In a land of freedom to abuse oneself there is responsibility required to clean up
