  • Good Picks. Where you from. It's nice to see that people recognize Wisconsin travels well. Go Bucky Go Pack

  • @Kory4000

I'm from Virginia and I'm a Hokie fan, so I know a good traveling team when I see one...

  • under 75 for the Oregon-Auburn game.

A slow start for both teams offensively: the long layoff, Auburn out of their element in unfamiliar surroundings.

Oregon missing FGs and struggling early vs. oversized Auburn defense.

Later, if Oregon is leading, they're python-like at clock-killing when they need to be (see vs. Cal, USC, Ore. St).

If Auburn's ahead, they'll run more and use up time, too.

Heisman winner on a national championship team? Only 7 times since 1950.

  • @oddsox1919

Don't forget AP Player Of The Year as well, lol...

But Auburn looks VERY good match-up wise with the Ducks...

The only think I'd be concern about, is the stamina fact for Auburn after this LONG break...

  • oklahoma st???? haha ohio state

  • @ThatDarnFez

yea, I don't know why I said "the other" OSU...lol

  • @Kritacul (continued)

Over the past 2 seasons, Oregon is 18-0 when their opponents had less than 2 weeks to prepare.

    2 weeks or more: 4-3.

Still, it comes down to focus, conditioning, adaptability to an unfamiliar environment.

    Edge to the Ducks here.

No trash talking on this thread, very good. Last year a lot of Oregon fans talked the Buckeyes down and had to eat their words.

Anybody on either side picking a 52-21 blowout (that's still an under, BTW) had better have their condiments ready.

  • @Kritacul, yeah, the break will be a big factor, as always.

    Cuts both ways.

Another factor is the length and frequency of TV (cardio?) timeouts that seemed to throw Oregon off-rhythm during the 2010 Rose Bowl.

Could be a huge help to Auburn.

And, did you realize they'll be playing on natural grass?

In my view, this favors the Tigers overall, but slows Cam, too.

The turf is sitting in the Arizona sunshine right now, but will be cut, rolled and relaid in the stadium just before the game.

  • I agree with all of your picks except Auburn vs Oregon. I do agree that it will be a shot out but I see Auburn's D giving up to much against Oregon's offense. Then getting worse in the 4th quarter b/c the up tempo style will slow down the Auburn D. Opening up more plays for Oregon.

  • Good picks. Pretty much how I see it going.
