This 19-second short is the result of keeping my six-year old son entertained over the Labour day long weekend. He's big into cartoons. I decided we'd try to create a stop-motion animation. Both to educate him on how cartoons work, and to keep him busy for longer than his usual 15 minute attention span.
I created a six panel story board. He took on the task of producing the elements to be animated. Together we took the individual photos. A total of 31. Slightly less than the 100 for which I was hoping.
Post-production involved using Quicktime, iMovie and GarageBand. All together it took us two hours spread over two days to make this little epic.
This is great Uncle Sheldon! I like the cute little cry for "help!".
