You mind if I steal this from you and say its was my own? Great line. Libertarianism is very appealing because it makes all the problems of philosophy, ethics, economics and social welfare so simple. You can deal with all of those issue with one curt little paragraph or less. Its easy simple and completely wrong. I don't trust anyone that can solve all the worlds issues with a few simple axioms.

@lordhighexecutioner Its rather insane ideology. In fact just the other day I was debating a Austrian economic cult member and he told me that the best time in US history was the late 19th century and that child labor laws were ineffective and get this that child labor isn't a bad thing because he worked at a farm once and like it when he was a kid. These people are insane, almost as bad as the objectivist.

Austrian economics is a cop-out. As economics is not a hard science, they say, people can't even try to use mathematics and the scientific method to determine the best economic policies. Therefore, they say, best to not even try and have an economic policy at all and have the laws of the jungle.

It's going to happen. The TP movement is going to blow this country to dust and bones. About time. We had good times and bad times. We did our best. Nothing lasts forever. @ilanaaq Unfortunately, the Ron Paul hype is still resonating amongst a lot of these brainwashed college age students. The Libertarian platform of unregulated free markets, economic self preservation, and non government intervention looks good on paper, but in reality. It will never work. Not in a nation of 300 million plus. Libertarianism is "fool's gold".
