This idea is untenable and unfeasible. Atavism cannot work by taking perceived injustices from long ago and trying to rectify them in today's reality. All American slaves are deceased. Moreover, some 2,500 Africans owned slaves, and then there were the indentured servants - a quaint euphemism for a type of slavery forced on lighter skinned peoples. You cannot compare this to Japanese-American reparations for living victims who were stripped of their Constitutional rights.

I agree with your commentary and I bellieve that not only blacks should get reperation but also the native americans and all the other races that have been subjugated which would be all races other than white sad to say.
I also agree that america needs to acknowledge all the injustices it has done to the entire world thru out history. I believe all history books should be rewriten to correctly portray america's impact and actions on the world and its own citizens.
