Ashley, Age 19 writes: I have always taken pride on my amount of confidence compared to other people. But I noticed lately that I have been gaining a lot of weight and now I feel unsure of myself. Hod do I get out of it?

There are several things going on here: falling into the comparision trap, allowing the media to tell you who you should be and what you should look like, and feeling off course. This video teaches the power of a vision board to help you become your best YOU!

  • The world/media would have us believe that unless we're thin and petite then we're not good enough... and if we buy that, then we'll never be good enough.

Try shifting your thoughts to what's right about you rather than focusing on what's wrong. Whatever you give your attention to, you attract that back.

Beauty comes from inside - and when you feel that way, you become a magnet and attract people to you. That's what the pic on the wall is all about - getting the attitude or feeling.

  • Dear avxxtarahxxril -

You make a really valid point. I'm really flat chested and there is no way I can put a pic of a big boobed girl on my vision board and expect to have my boobs grow :) It doesn't work that way at all.

But what it can do is to get you in the feeling place of love and joy and when you feel that way, you have a better shot at loving yourself unconditionally - just the way you are.

  • CONTINUATION: every girl around me that I see has the most skinniest little legs and I feel terrible around guys because I just feel so bulky and not so much what a girl wants to feel like!! I want to feel like im petite.. just like every other girl does. I go to the gym and work my butt off but my thighs aren't going anywhere because of my BONES. thats how im built and that's all I ever will have- having thick thighs. Your totally promoting something thats wrong sticking other people's pics on

  • hmmm....a scale???? i thought we should embrace ourselves no matter what we weigh? i mean you can still look pretty unhealthy at 125 lbs... you might look underweight, and that's not good either....shouldn't you just love yourself no matter what you weigh? you shoudn't have to use weight to control your life... :(

  • @KathleenHassanDotCom hey there are many celebrities( im using them because i know what people think about them) that are supper adored, but their chest is flaT!! its all about confidence. some peopleare not thin and skinny but they put the image of a skinny girl on the board. maybe they dont get as thin as that firl in the pic but they get confident!

  • this reminds me of "thinspo" pictures for anorexics. .. which is totally unheathy.

INSTEAD, post pictures of YOURSELF looking your best/healthiest and post pictures of your hobbies and accomplishments... stuff that makes you feel happy, not inadequate
