  • hi, what type of emulsion & film print do you recommend for halftone image?and what emulsion brands do you recommend. thanks

  • @trebluap I would use a Saatichem emulsion like Textil PV or PC. You can get it at a discount using a Catspit promo code on the website. Link is in the video description and channel page. The halftone itself will depend on your mesh count and desired resolution. I like 45 to 55 lpi in most cases. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @tourettestrickenshan This is something that most people never realize or notice. Most artwork designed for white or light colored garments with darker inks will need to be “reversed” for printing in white ink on black tee shirts. This is due to a negative effect if it is not done correctly. But few notice this and even printers themselves often will not reverse the artwork because it can take time. But I will get to this eventually. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • hello again - novice printer here. just wanted to thank you again for uploading these awesome and informative videos! loyal subscriber here. ran into an interesting issue tonight with a design that was mostly black, and wanted to print it on black textile. what i thought was to be a correct positive turned out to be wrong - i actually had to make a revere positive (negative?) to get the white of the design to print correctly on the black. confusing? maybe a quick video on this subject

  • @dknour Hey there… what exactly are you referring to? These are film positives produced by different methods. Check out the video again, you should be able to understand what I am saying about the different film making methods. Thanks for watching and commenting! ☠
