@sarrafeiro. Thats not true. You do need Leg strength, but that not the most important. You need explosivness and technique. Without that you could forget about being in front of the pack.

@sarrafeiro very wrong, your main improvement comes from actually sprinting... I agree with the explosive power thang. You needa have a good snatch, deadlift, bench and deadlift... not calf raises or leg extensions.

its more about gym training than track training. believe me, for 60m you just need great amounts of explosive power, squats, bench press, calf raises, leg extensions, that stuff
