I am a Landscape Architect and times are tough now...only two of my friends i graduated from 4 years ago have jobs, everyone else got laid off...i love my profession but it is truly tuff times right now....hang in there and dont get discouraged by the market,,, if you love being a landscape architect ...keep the hope..

I have studied landscape architecture in germany, but here in germany the job has no future. Landscape architecture and design has less significance. Definitely this profession is really interesting, but sadly in most cases without future.

i am learning for it, fuck what others say, classmates and other people of course think i am weird yet i will learn landscape architect, go to california, USA or somewhere else and be a succesful landscape architect and get tons of money :D but also for the looks of environment

No time to convince my self - I am just doing it... BTW It doesn't snow everywhere in the world in winter - we would be plowing mud! Now stop being so bitter :-)

It sounds like you're trying to convince yourself. BTW what size plow do you have on your truck in the winter time?

Not naive, just determined... I have wasted 20 years not doing what I love. Now I work by myself in all weather renovating and redesigning gardens with my clients. I study and am a pretty much full-time mum AND I AM LOVING IT :-) even shovelling mulch!
