  • LEO ROSE WAS THE ORIGINAL LEAD OF THE EMPIRES BEFORE JAY BLACK AND

HE DID THE DEMO OF A TIME AND A PLACE BEFORE JAY BLACK... LEO LEFT AND

JAY TOOK HIS PLACE....LEO IS JAY'S TRUE PREDECESSOR.....THAT IS A LITTLE

    KNOWN FACT OF MUSIC HISTORY..........

  • @lerosedit Jay was with other groups before he was with the Empires and he also was a duet with Marty Sanders before they were with the Empires. So how does that make Leo Jay's predecessor when Jay had been with others before Leo. We all know that Leo was with the Empires first and that Jay took his place, that isn't the issue.

  • Another Jay Black to love! Thanks!

  • MARTY SANDERS.ALSO KNOWN AS MARTY KUPERSMITH GAVE LEO THE SONG

"A TIME AND A PLACE" AND LEO WITH THE EMPIRES DID THE DEMO...THAT WAS BEFORE JAY DID THE SONG...SO LEO PRECEDED JAY...THAT IS WHAT PREDECESSOR MEANS...TO COME BEFORE...ALSO APPARENTLY YOU DID NOT KNOW THAT LEO DID THE DEMO OF JAYS SONG. ALSO MARTY HIMSELF

REFERS TO LEO AS JAYS PREDECESSOR BECAUSE AFTER LEO. THE REST IS HISTORY..........
