@cacaman17 they don't. it's an interceptor. the California Highway Patrol used them to chase down criminals and arrest them. they were taken away in your regular Crown Vics when they arrived.
This is a replica, though. two giveaways: blue lights, not red and blue., and it's a hatchback. the CHP only used notchback Mustangs.

Just to add to that comment, most of them were in fact notch backs... So this one in particular may be a replica.

Actually most of the real decommissioned 5.0 interceptors I've seen in person were 5-speeds. As a matter of fact I believe in Florida and California alot of them were supercharged during that time. They stopped using em because they were very easy cars to lose control of.

Hmm...pause this video at 1:35 you'll notice there are x's over the headlights. call me crazy but i've never in my life seen an Demo Derby intercepter...
