It is NOT the way that London authorities treat overseas visitors though. It's what's known as a loophole. The funniest thing I saw was an American Jock showing off,waving a fistful of cash outside one of these clip joints saying "Well, I think we can afford that! Haw. Haw. Haw."

Warning: Boycott London especially Soho Adult entertainment establishments. They are known as 'Clip Joints.' Basically, they lure in tourists and threaten them unless they pay large bills. This is legal. This is the way the London authorities treat overseas visitors.
