IMPORTANT INFO on the video:
"In trying to wrap your head around how this works, think about a mirage. The sheet you see up there is made up of carbon nanotubes submerged in water. The array of molecule-thick tubes heat up quick, and a bunch of them can transfer said heat across a surface fast. That's important, because heat is a key component in creating a mirage, or more specifically a photothermal deflection, which is what you're seeing here.

A good ol' fashioned mirage like you see out in the desert is actually an optical trick that can be captured on film. It's all about temperature differential: light is turning as it passes over a desert surface, and through denser, colder air into warm air. That phantom water you see is actually a reflection of the sky through the bending light, and your mind trying to make sense of what's really there. If there was something really there, like, say, a shrub, you wouldn't see it. "

The robotic voice is reading text from the scientific abstract released by the scientists at the University of Texas at Dallas (link below).
"The single-beam mirage effect, also known as photothermal deflection, is studied using a free-standing, highly aligned carbon nanotube aerogel sheet as the heat source."

"carbon nanotube aerogel sheet" .. Aerogel is a VERY fascinating material, I did a video on it a couple months ago (link below). And what I am insinuating in the video you're watching now, is that I wonder... and have always wondered about Aerogel and how it could be used in the science of invisibility. It would seem, to me, the possibilities are endless.

Whats up with the clouds in this video? Well I show a clip of an Aerogel mold shaped to the profile of a human's face, and then I show a clip of a giant face in the clouds that was recorded in August 2011 and has gone viral. It took place in New Brunswick, Canada. Here's that clip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdg6WU_aqWE

And I just simply find it interesting how much alike the aerogel and the clouds look. I wonder if it comes in an aerosol form or if they could just float giant sheets of it into the sky, undetected. 'They' being TPTB (The Powers That Be).

Why would they do that? One reason might be geoengineering, in their minds it would be to save the planet from global warming. Maybe an Aerogel-like substance would be ideal to shield us while still allowing sunlight through. Who knows.
My previous Aerogel video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MDJBMrStFU

But why would I suspect them of this type of thing? That's where the ending of this video comes in where I illustrate a thought bubble and within it is a clip of a strange occurrence, also from August 2011, during which multiple shadows were seen BEHIND a cloud. An airplane was simultaneously leaving a suspicious "contrail" right on the shadows. That was recorded in Rowlett, Texas. Video:

I have since then witnessed similar phenomena here in Tucson, AZ on Sep. 8, 2011. Video:

Keep an eye out for the same thing on your area, you can be expecting to see it. :) Quite strange.

All scientific minds... please excuse my esoterica :) Much love, meow

  • Considering the effect shown was only produced under water, and they didnt show it cloaking anything it was just creating a reflective surface which would be easy to detect. Besides that it would make you a huge target on thermal scopes and IR cams because of the heat it produces. Its cheaper and easier to use LCD TV screens stacked in front of your tank to project an image of what is behind you.

  • i thought they were going to kiss at the end.

  • Interesting video! By the way, what is the song in this video?

  • WOW! So cool!

  • This is kinda scary.

Think about it. If this technology develops further and ever gets into the wrong hands, people can easily sneak into businesses or even worse people's homes and anonymously attack them.

  • So does it only work at an angle, and underwater? It is very cool.

  • What ever they choose to show us is OLD HAT, belive me they are many years ahead of this.

  • @Sheilaaliens your dumb

  • I made this at home by myself 3 years ago.

  • HOLY SHIT i JUST SAW GOD AT 2:47
