well then you believe that the tempo markings of bernstein are wrong. You are contradicting to one of the best music interpreter of all time. What qualifications do you have to do that?

@hutyilo Since when does music need anything but subjective opinion - particularly about who is the best musical interpreter? I'm not arguing it's not too fast, but I am really tired of elitism regarding music, rather than allowing people to enjoy.

@TonayD Thats pretty close to the actual tempo though. it is written really fast.

i play french horn and the first time i heard Eb clarinet i was like what the world lol

lol we just performed this on friday at york university at a festival (high school festival...) i play Eb clarinet (its supper high!!!)

Way too fast... the beauty of the piece gets lost. Listen to Bernstein conducting it - that's the perfect tempo.
