Billy the Kid was a great document of teenage life. It's a shame that Jennifer has to explain the formula of the quintessential documentary since the likes of Moore & Spurlock. This film is more akin to the classic atheistics of the genre, like Frederick Wiseman's ground breaking work. But most of all it's frustrating to me that this seems to have been forgotten in mainstream documentary film making today. In it's simplest form this film focuses on the subject & not just box office appeal.

they are both really mean and condescending about Billy and his girlfriend. This is really disheartening to watch.

@akroyd well i think billy sgirlfriend was mean.he treated her with respect when no one else would and she goes and dumps him for no reason.it goes to show you that all girls do the same thing.say they love you.then change overnight.even girls with crazy fucked up eyes darting back a forth.what a bitch.
