Man, I remember listening to this interview when it aired on WNEW on a Sunday morning in 82. I was driving from Long Island to Boston and vividly remember excerpts while on the Whitestone Bridge. Kenton was my favorite composer arranger at the time and I was impressed by Riddles honesty regarding building off others work. Thanks so much for posting. Its nice to see that the WNEW archive has been saved

Riddle was a legend. His stuff with Sinatra was easily Sintra's best material.

Thanks! Nelson! We all know that you made Sinatra´s work. Thanks!

Ha, his take on borrowing around 2:00 makes a case in favor of music sampling.
