who cares whether or not they used drugs, name a musician who hasnt, the difference with rush is they have self control, the oly talented band still left from the 70's still making awesome progressive music.

I guess some people cant get past that immature " my dad's stronger than your dad " type mentality ... Music isn't a competition ... there's no such thing as THE BEST guitarist .. we all have our personal faves ..that's it. Lifeson is obviously one of my favorite guitarists. Not just because of Rush's music and his great guitar work ... he's a well spoken and friendly guy ...despite all his accolades .. He's funny , polite, and has his own signature style ... without the pointless shredding !
