i just bought one. when using the "outdoor guide" i find that when the blade tip clears the guide, you're on your own, because there's no more guide to guide it. since as soon as you clear the guide, the angle will change. am i doing it wrong? i see the same thing happening in the demos.

This looks to be a great product. I would go as far to say this is probably the best knife sharpening machine for home use, on the market. I sharpen knives as part of my job and find it frustrating to teach people how to do it. This machine would solve that problem. Thanks.

The Work Sharpener will run you about $79.95 and the replacement belt kits are only $9.95. To get you started the sharpener will come with a set of 6 belts ( 2x P80 belts, 2x P220 belts, 2x 6000 honing belts). The replacement belt kits will also come with 6 belts (2x P80 belts, 2x P220 belts, 2x 6000 honing belts).
