  • I admire the way Ramadasu put such unique words together and i can't take it when some one try to spoil that effort. It wouldn't have bothered me much if its a film song or something else.

The meaning of the song is important for me where as music might be important for you. It's all taste ..One persons genius can be anothers tosser. Its like an open ended disussion ..

just tought of putting my two cents..!!

  • Unnikrishnanan, please promise us you will never sing this song.

    Thanks

PS: Learn the words. it is not short maina it is long maayena.

  • Chitra´s pronunciation of Telugu is nice right?

  • terrible.... sorry mr.Krishnan...

  • ????????

  • A nice keerthana in aananda bhiravi

  • Nice cover.

I just saw a rendition of this song by Tharachandra , very different i have to say. :)

  • unni sir has sung well only. why pick on unni sir,Most of the non telugu speaking singers screw up the lyrics. They eat away the lyrics,u can hardly make out what they are singing.with unni sir lyrics are clearly audible.which singer these days sings with emotions.

  • @springfield29 I totally agree with you. Although music itself has an universal appeal, lyrics are very important if the reach has to widen. When the audience understands what the singer is singing, they can relate to it in a much bigger way than otherwise.

  • Another point I would like to add is that if the singer does not know the meaning and the right pronunciation, how will he able to sing with the right bhava?
